Tire Tread Wear

Tread pattern baldness is real. Check out the tread patterns below and see what may be causing the uneven wear.

Alignment issue: 

Toe wear creates a thin outer or inner edge. Camber wear results in exaggerated inner or outer edge.

Out of balance:

Patch wear is patchy tread wear or spots.

Inflation issue: 

Over inflation creates center wear, which is a thin tread in center of tire. Under inflation causes edge wear, which is a thin tread along edges.

Worn out Suspension:

Cup wear is diagonal or scalloped tread.
